“I was so happy to join the BBCF community a year ago. I was experiencing one of the most difficult challenges of my life and I was pretty unhappy. I joined BBCF feeling very nervous about making a fool of myself (which as everyone now knows I do freely anyway so not sure what I was so worried about – ha!). But after being immediately accepted and encouraged by everyone around me, I gained more self-confidence than I ever had and I have been able to hit many fitness (and social) milestones that I never would’ve imagined I would be able to accomplish as a 40-year-old single, full-time working mother of two. Not to mention that all of the BBCF family have become like my family – strong, dedicated, fun-loving, good-hearted, generous people who inspire me every day in so many ways!
